The Federal University of Health Sciences, Otukpo invites suitably and qualified applicants for admission into the Remedial Science Programme for the 2026/2027 Academic Session. Entry Requirements: The candidates must possess at least, a minimum of 3 'O' LEVEL Credits in WASC/SSCE/NECO/GCE results or its equivalent in the following Subject: English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and either Biology or Agricultural Science or Geography. The Remedial Programme is strictly for Science Students who wants to study any of the following programmes:
1. MBBS Medicine and Surgery
2. Pharm.D. Doctor of Pharmacy
3. B.NSc. Nursing Science
4. B.MLS. Medical Laboratory Science
5. B.Sc. Public Health & Epidemiology
6. B.Sc. Biochemistry
7. B.Sc. Human Anatomy
8. B.Sc. Human Physiology
9. B.Sc. Microbiology
10. B.Sc. Computer Science
11. B.Sc. Chemistry
12. B.Sc. Biological Science
13. B.Sc. Medical Physics
14. B.Sc. Biostatistics
15. B.Sc. Mathematics In addition, to remedying deficiencies, the FUHSO Remedial Sciences program will:
i. Conduct JAMB/UMTE clinic to enable Candidates to be well prepared through intensive teaching/coaching for 2026/2027 JAMB/UTME examination.
ii. Prepare Candidates through Nine (9) Months intensive programme of Teaching and Laboratory exercise in the subjects to be better fit for the relevant 100 Level Degree programme in FUHSO. Placement into the Federal University of Health Sciences, Otukpo Degree programmes will be automatic for those who participate in the FUHSO Remedial Sciences programme, provided the Candidate successfully complete the programme and:
a. obtains a minimum of 50% in each subject taken with proven 75% attendance during teaching and laboratory periods;
b. Choose the Federal University of Health Sciences, Otukpo as first choice in JAMB/UTME; and
c. Obtained the University's cut-off mark for the course of choice (which may be reviewed every academic year) Method of Application: Interested applicants are requested to visit the University website on
www.fuhso.edu.ng and click on “Remedial Portal” to create account that will be used for online application. Applicants are to fill their relevant information online and pay the sum of Ten-thousand-naira (N10,000) non-refundable fee through the same portal. Duration of Sale of Form: The sale of application forms will commence from Friday 7th August, 2026 and close on Sunday 31st October, 2026.
